HSE series is similar in function to 970 series, but is intended for commercial or industrial applications that requires 4”, 5” or 6” plumbing and have an AC power source. Debris or ice that accumulates within the filter basket is automatically macerated and discharged through a 1” plumbing line. System shut-down for filter cleaning is thus eliminated, as is the need for heavier, larger, and more expensive duplex strainers.
